Sapphire, the Wolf Whisperer

Sapphire has recently turned seventeen and has been homeschooled all of her life. She's only been around her family and the few scientists friends with their children. Now, in an attempt to give her at least some normality, her parents are sending her to live with her aunt and go to school nearby. It will be her first time going to public school, to a small town that she knows very little of. 

With her wits and strong personality, she's certain that she can make it through the year and hopefully make some friends. But soon after she makes her first friend, Sapphire begins to realize that she has a strange talent. She can communicate with wolves. What started out as a joke, turns into a chance for change.

In a town where wolves are hunted for sport, Sapphire begins to realize the true reason why she was brought to this place. It wasn't just a coincidence when she realized her gift, and she was going to make sure that it wasn't forgotten. Her mother always told her that she was special, and Sapphire planned to make her proud. Not only by sharing her gift, but proving that even the scariest of animals deserve a chance.
